If you are missing just one after a week or so, go ahead and turn in what you have. We ask that you continue to work to get them all signed, as this is a requirement with us being a Title I school. 10. VAM testing - the schedule was put out in last week's newsletter. Please have homeroom teachers sign the security agreement and return to Julie's mailbox. Lynne will stop by the team meetings of fourth, fifth and specials to let you know where we are with last year's appraisals. Karen and Karen I., I will get with you as well. 11. PLCs - how would your grade level like to proceed with PLCs - still individiual topics, or more of a school focus, but continuing to meet in small groups 12. SuccessMaker before and after school - letters will hopefully go home the end of this week, beginning of next week. Please send names of kids that would benefit and that are either WTI daycare or parent pickup/drop off. It is harder for us to have kids that ride the bus participate in this. 13. SES (Supplemental Educational Services) - SES is the tutoring that we provided a number of years ago for our students that are on free/reduced lunch. There have been big changes with SES - the only students that are now eligible for tutoring through SES are kids who scored a 1 or 2 in reading or math last year on FCAT. If teachers are interested in being a tutor, please plan to meet with providers on Monday, August 27 at Forest Ridge Elementary. Tutors are paid between $15 and $45 an hour, depending on the company they are working for. More details will follow. 14. Tutoring - if anyone is providing any tutoring, please let us know.
